I was asked to photograph the FORMENTOR peninsula, in northern Mallorca in order to include a visual chapter into a book about the history of a hotel that was founded in 1930 and has been a place for writers, Hollywood actors, politicians and any kind of distingushed people all the 20th century long. The goal was to show in a personal way the amazing nature that surrounds the place. I traveled all around the peninsula with my bike or walking for nearly two weeks in 2009. I wish all assignements were like this.
