Despite its political stability, its oil production, an acceptable agriculture and even some tourism, Cameroon is one of the poorest countries of the sub-saharian Africa. Bad government, bad educational system and bad health assitence have made of Cameroon a country where hopelessness and poorness are concepts we don't even mention anymore. They are too obvious to be discussed. The EXTREME NORD porovince is supposed to be a favoured region because of its natural resources, its cultural interest and because it is President Paul Biya homeland. This story was shot in 1999.
